I believe that the shared learning environment is dynamic and must be reflective of the unique collections of individuals in each class. It is therefore essential to build relationships based on respect, to explicitly teach teamwork, and co-create our learning environment. It is my goal that our classroom is a safe place to ask questions and be a supportive community for trial and error. I know students will not always be successful on their first try, in our classroom we learn from both our triumphs and our trials. Learning is a process of continuous growth and improvement.
